For those who have the talent and desire to become more involved in worship please check out the opportunities listed below.

 

SANCTUARY CHOIR

The Sanctuary Choir is open to any adult who has a love for God and song in their heart. There is no audition or other requirements. Rehearsal is each Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. This is a time of sharing  joys, devotional thought and prayer, and of course, preparing for worship. Throughout the year fun events like cookouts, weekend trips and singing for other churches and/or nursing homes are scheduled.

 

ORCHESTRA

 

All musicians who play on a Senior High level are encouraged to participate in the orchestra. The orchestra meets at 9:00 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month to prepare for the 10:30 a.m. service. Music is made available ahead of time so that musicians can practice at home.

 

ELEMENTARY AGE CHOIRS

 

Seasonal Choir camps are offered to children in Grades K - 6. At these camps children learn basic music and prepare songs for performance.

 

PRE K CHOIR

 

Our precious pre k children are encouraged to participate in our Heaven’s Angels Choir. This choir meets on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. There is a fall and spring semester with each semester about 13 weeks long.

 

HANDBELL CHOIR

 

Those who enjoy the beautiful harmony of handbells can look forward to playing at special times of the year.

 
 
Worship News

Choir CD's
The new choir CD, Something Happens, is available in the church office or main foyer of the church. We ask a donation of any amount. Money raised will go to the music scholarship fund. It is the desire of the choir that this CD will be a tool for you to use for worship and outreach.

Hand Bells
Rehearsal is at 6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Donna Kushner is the director.

Children's Choirs
  • Heaven's Angels - preK choir - Sundays, 5:00--meet in nursery room 3
  • K-6 Children's Choir - Christmas Musical rehearsal , 4:30--Sanctuary
  • Girls of Grace - girls choir, grades 4-6

Sanctuary Choir

It’s never too late to get involved in the Sanctuary Choir. We rehearse each Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. We lead worship each Sunday in the 10:30 a.m. service. There have been several new additions in January. There is room for more! We are open to anyone with a love for God and a song in their heart.

 

FBC ORCHESTRA
...plays twice a month and is open to anyone who can play on a High School level. If you play an instrument, please consider being a part of this ministry.
