SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
The best avenue to ensure that each believer
is growing in their faith in the Lord is through small
group Bible Study. First Baptist Church strongly encourages
individuals and families to be involved in Sunday Morning Bible
study. SMBS is the outreach arm of the local church and it is the
place where people can meet Christ through the influence of friends
who will love and care for them. Faithful teachers lead our classes
which begin at 9:30 a.m.
DISCIPLESHIP
Classes, seminars, and other enrichment events are offered throughout the year to help believers grow and mature into Christ likeness. Ladies, you can usually find an exciting Beth Moore study going on in the spring and fall.
OUTREACH
First Baptist Church strongly believes in winning people to Christ. Our goal is to train every member in FAITH. FAITH teaches us how to share our faith in a non-confrontational way. Joe Hull leads our FAITH Outreach and holds classes in the fall and spring on Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
CHRISTIAN GROWTH MINISTRY CLASS
Each Sunday at 5:15 p.m. we offer our adult discipleship class. This class uses the Christian Living series which is a discipleship Bible study series developed around a central Biblical theme.
WOMEN’S MISSIONARY AUXILIARY
Ladies of First Baptist Church have weekly and monthly opportunities to come together for support of Missions. Our weekly meeting is Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and our monthly meeting times are announced as scheduled.
BROTHERHOOD
Men of First
Baptist Church meet every three months for fellowship and to support
missions. This monthly meeting is a breakfast and is held at a local
restaurant.
