FITNESS/WELLNESS ACTIVITIES

The scripture reminds us that our bodies are a temple and caring for our bodies both spiritually and physically honors God. I Corinthians 6: 19-20 says, Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” Our fitness and wellness activities provide a way to focus on caring for our body in a group setting.

  • Ladies Exercise – each Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00 am ladies meet at the FBC gym for a time of low impact aerobic exercise led by Judy Baushke. The group also has a prayer time.
  • REFIT – an exercise group is a way to have fun and focus on fitness with friends in a Christian atmosphere. Classes are held at 5:30 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the FBC gym with Julie Stewart & Angela Rushing.
  • Activity Center – The Activity Center is open daily from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and provides a number of ways that people can focus on fitness. Come walk or enjoy another physical activity.
